Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings
Recipe
2 LBS chicken wings
1/2 TBSP olive oil
1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chopped oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup KRAFT grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Lay two pounds of chicken wings out on a large platter. Drizzle your olive oil and squeeze your lemon over the chicken, then season with salt, fresh oregano, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Next, pour your bread crumbs over the chicken and distribute evenly. Once you've adequitely coated your wings in the bread crumbs, you're ready to bake them. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, and place your wings on a large nonstick cookie sheet, or glass Pyrex dish. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top of your wings evenly. Once the oven is preheated, bake for 15-20 minutes. Make sure to cook the chicken thoroughly. Once the wings are about 70% cooked, turn your oven temperature up to 475 degrees and bake for another 10-15 minutes. This lets the chicken crisp up to get that nice, golden crunch. Once done, remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle more Parmesan cheese to top it off, and voila: you have one of my favorite dishes! Best served with a hot sauce of your choice.
